The Ankogel - Mallnitz freeride area is certainly one of the best areas in Austria. Since it is not yet as well known as the Arlberg or the Montafon, it is not yet as popular as it is. The ski area in the Ankogel group is not very large and has few kilometers of slopes to offer, but with short climbs you get to a seemingly endless freeriding paradise. Freeride runs up to 1800 m are possible in safe conditions. The Hannoverhaus at 2636m spoils us with delicacies of the highest quality. These days will be an unforgettable pleasure!

Driving curves in a parallel ski position in deep snow in all types of snow and in steep terrain

Program
We start our powder day at 9.00 a.m. The exact meeting point will be announced the day before via WhatsApp. The Gastein valley offers many opportunities for long descents. Depending on the avalanche situation and snow conditions, I plan the best ones for the day.
In this program I try to choose the freeride routes in such a way that we always ride new slopes and thus have a round of several nice descents and smaller climbs per day.
