Tour description
The Stubacher Sonnblick is the parade summit in the touring area of the Rudolfshütte, so it is usually always well attended. The highest peak in the Granatspitz group impresses with its dreamy summit panorama. Since the ascent with the help of the glacier cable car is relatively short, you can also take part in the Granatspitze (can only be reached by easy block climbing) and / or the Hohe Fürleg, making it an almost day-long undertaking.

Program
Meeting point and welcome at 8.45 a.m. at the valley station of the Weißsee Enzinger Boden glacier cable car.
After the last check of the safety equipment or the addition of the rental equipment, we take the cable car up to our starting point, the Rudolfshütte, which is at 2315 m. A magnificent view awaits you here.
However, skinning is only done after a short ski descent to Weißsee. From here we start our beautiful and leisurely ski tour to the Stubacher Sonnblick, 3232 m.

Basically, we do not need any accommodation for this tour. However, it is possible to book a night in the hut with hotel character either before the tour or after the tour. Personally, I can only give my recommendation for the hut.
Theoretically and practically, you could possibly do a second tour the next day. You will certainly not fail because of the tour options in the immediate vicinity of the hut.
